Radiation Safety
Repat Radiology values the safety and wellbeing of all its patients by keeping the level of radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
X-ray, CT and Fluoroscopy examinations use ionising radiation, but Ultrasound does not.
If you know you are, or think you may be pregnant, you must tell your referring practitioner and the radiographer before your examination.
If you would like further information on radiation safety please see our radiation information sheet.
